Dear designers,
here's a reminder for you.
You are probably entering one of the most important eras for design.
Think about it.
AI can write your copy,
Generate your wireframes,
Code your layout,
Or test hundreds of your variations overnight.
And while many people think designers will be obsolete, the opposite is true.
Because when anyone can make something, the hard part becomes knowing what’s worth making.
And that's where you come into play.
What does that mean?
Here's a fact: AI is way better than you in designing and executing.
It’s faster, more intelligent, and gets the job done in 100x the speed.
But...
It has no opinion.
No gut instinct.
It can generate a hundred versions, but it can’t tell you which one "feels" right.
Which one is intuitive, elegant, inevitable.
And that’s where you can shine.
Not because you design pretty screens, but because you know when to stop.
You know when something feels off by 3 pixels.
When a flow has one step too many.
When a feature sounds good but breaks the soul of the product.
It's your taste.
And it might be the constraint that matters.
It shows up in the first impression.
In the loading state.
In the feature you chose not to build.
In a world where AI is completely booming,
you don't have any excuses left.
Speed is solved.
Execution is easy.
Distribution is automated.
So what’s left?
Your judgment.
Your composition.
Your restraint.
That’s why this moment is so special.
When you design, you finally get to lead.
Not because you own the tools, but because you own the "point of view".
You don’t win by doing more.
You win by doing less, better.
So now's the time to:
Develop taste.
Fight for coherence.
Build with conviction.
It's beautiful once you put yourself into it.
And if you get it right, it won’t just be your superpower.
It’ll be your legacy.
Now go make something timeless.
